APAAR ID means \u201cAutomated Permanent Academic Account Registry<\/strong>.\u201d It is issued through the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). It keeps your academic details in one place, just like a digital locker. The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has launched the APAAR ID card under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It is also called \u201cOne Nation, One Student ID Card<\/strong>.\u201d APAAR ID is a digital student ID with a unique 12-digit number. It helps students store all their academic records in one place. This includes marksheets, certificates, degrees, and achievements. This ID is given to students in both private and government schools and colleges, from pre-primary to higher education. <\/a>Apaar ID Registration Process Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To get an APAAR ID, students must have an Aadhaar card. They also need a DigiLocker account for verification. After parents give permission, the school will create the APAAR ID. Students can check their ID on DigiLocker or the Academic Bank of Credits website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>Registration Process Through DigiLocker –<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Go to the DigiLocker website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Now click \u201cLogin\/Register\u201d and add your mobile number, address, and Aadhaar information to create your DigiLocker account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Open your DigiLocker account and log in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Now click on \u201cSearch Documents\u201d and enter \u201cAcademic Bank of Credits\u201d in the search box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5:<\/strong> Select the \u201cAPAAR\/ABC ID Card\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> First, open the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) website in your browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Now go to \u201cMy Account\u201d and then choose the \u201cStudent\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Now click \u201cSign Up\u201d and add your mobile number, address, and Aadhaar information to create your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Now log in to your DigiLocker account with your credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5:<\/strong> When you see the prompt, click \u201cI agree\u201d to share your Aadhaar details with ABC for KYC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6:<\/strong> Now enter your academic details, including your school or university name, class, and course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7:<\/strong> After you submit the form, your APAAR ID card will be generated automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>How to Login to the APAAR Portal?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Follow these steps to access your APAAR account and manage your academic profile:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to the official Academic Bank<\/a><\/strong> of Credits (ABC) portal at abc.gov.in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Now click on the \u201cMy Account\u201d tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Choose \u201cStudent.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. There are three ways to log in: Mobile Number, Username, or Other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Now choose your preferred login option. It is recommended to use your mobile number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Now enter your credentials and click on \u201cSign In.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. If you use a mobile number, verify your login with the OTP sent to your phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Enter your security PIN when asked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. After this, you will be redirected to your APAAR dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    <\/a>How to Download Apaar ID Card?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After completing APAAR registration, students can download their ID card. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2:<\/strong> Select the dashboard and select \u201cAPAAR Card Download.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
