India ranks 6th at about $4.15 trillion and is the fastest-growing major economy (around 6.5%). These rankings use nominal GDP from the IMF World Economic Outlook (April 2026). On a PPP (purchasing power parity) basis the order changes and China becomes No. 1, with India third.
