The State Pollution Control Board commonly called as SPCB, manages activities for preventing pollution and protecting the environment. Process to get State Pollution Control Board NOC 

The process of getting NOC from the State Pollution Control Board is mentioned below:

• The process of getting NOC can be done through an online monitoring system and consent management.
• An individual needs Consent to Operate for manufacturing under environmental laws. In order to get a license of Consent of Management, the business owner has to submit the required licenses and costs and CTO FORM.
• The applicant must get an NOC from the SPCB before the commencement of activities as it is necessary even for trial production.
• An officer visits the industrial unit for inspection before granting NOC.

Approval of Renewal of CTO

The renewal application must be made 30 days prior to the expiry of the previous NOC followed by the submission made above. The procedure for inspection will be taken up by the concerned officer only then the renewal will be made towards the NOC. The renewal fees for the NOC will be similar to taking a new NOC. 

Penalties for Not Obtaining SPCB NOC in India
