1. Discontinuation of physical biometric & mandatory submission of Aadhaar for KYDC process and it has been decided to:
- Discontinue the physical biometric for KYC compliance for the issuance of ARN;
- Make it compulsory for ARN applicants or Mutual Fund Distributors to either provide a PAN and Aadhar or have a valid KYC with the KRAs that is KYC with Validated Status for the KYC process;
2. AMFI Registration for ARN to be allowed only through online mode:
- Mandatory for individual applicants to apply for AMFI registration (New ARN & EUIN) only through online mode to facilitate PAN & Aadhar authentication online easily & discontinued the paper-based process.
