  • Passport-size Photograph
  • Service-specific documents (like income or caste certificate for scholarships)

Seva Sindhu Login and Status Problems and Solutions

Here are the common problems and their easy fixes:

  • “Mobile Not Linked to Aadhaar”: Online registration is not available. Go to your nearest CSC or Karnataka One centre, where officials will help you register.
  • “OTP Not Received”: Make sure your mobile has network coverage, disable DND if it is active, refresh the page, and try again. If needed, switch to another browser.
  • “BENEFICIARY_ALREADY_MAPPED” error: Your Aadhaar is already linked to an existing beneficiary record. Contact the helpline or visit a service centre.
  • Application stuck for 15+ days: Track your status, note the department name, and contact that department or the Sakala helpline (1800-425-0101).
  • Certificate not downloading: The status must be “Approved”. Install a PDF reader and try again.
  • Cannot edit after submission: Editing is usually not allowed. You may need to cancel and reapply.

Seva Sindhu Processing Time: How Long Does It Take?

Many people ask how long a service takes. Here is a general idea:

  • Most services and certificates: Usually 7 to 15 working days.
  • Some certificates: May be approved faster.
  • Legal heir certificate: Can take longer, around 30 to 45 working days.

Because Seva Sindhu is linked with Sakala (Karnataka’s time-bound service guarantee), each service has a promised timeline. If your application is delayed beyond this, you can escalate through Sakala.

How to Get Offline Help for Seva Sindhu

If you need help, you can:

  • Visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
  • Go to a Karnataka One, Bangalore One, or Grama One centre.
  • Visit a Bapuji Seva Kendra at the Gram Panchayat level.

The staff there will help you register, apply, track status, or download certificates — this is very useful if your mobile is not linked to Aadhaar.

Seva Sindhu Helpline Number

If you face any problem with login, status, or services, you can contact the official helpline:

  • Seva Sindhu Helpline: 08022279954, 8792662814, 8792662816 (working days, 10 AM to 6 PM)
  • Email: sevasindhu@karnataka.gov.in
  • Sakala Helpline (for delays): 1800-425-0101

If you need help, you can also visit your nearest service centre for assistance.

Conclusion

The Seva Sindhu portal makes it easy to use Karnataka Government services online. You can apply for services, check your application status, and download certificates from home.

Use the main portal for certificates and other services. Use the GS portal for schemes like Gruha Lakshmi, Gruha Jyothi, and Yuva Nidhi. Keep your Aadhaar linked to your mobile number and make sure your details are correct for a smooth experience.
