The authorization is the owner constraint. The authorization can be renewed but cannot be transferred to another person. The authorization is valid for 10 years and can be renewed again for 10 years only.

The facility should have enough space to move and store the damaged vehicles. Also it must house enough equipment for the scrapping tasks. The vehicle scrapping unit must have the facilities of handling hazardous pollutants in a proper way.
